Thank you Fakirj. Yes, Bengalou is clean and compact. He takes his time. But Copain is starting to wander off. This has never happened before; he usually stays in the garden or nearby, where I always see him. Now, two hours out somewhere elseβit upsets me, it annoys me, it worries me. He got back safely. I'm going to block him. Thank you π

The weather was quite pleasant today. I could have done my last lawn mowing, but I was busy laying tiles. It's done. I had to level the surface before laying them. I dusted everything off. The tiles are drying now. Tomorrow, I'll do the grouting. It works. Except I made a bit of a rough cut. But it doesn't matter, it won't be visible in the back corner which will be hidden by the cabinet. You can't just become a tiler overnight. This is my first time. I didn't know how to use the tile cutter properly. I'll know now. My boyfriend was gone from home for two hours this afternoon. Needless to say, it annoyed me. Sometimes it only happens for an hour. Between laying tiles and my worrying, I thought the worst. I looked for it all over the neighborhood. And then he finally came back. Not injured, in good shape. He went back to sleep after a good meal. My friend is taking liberties and I'm finding it hard to accept. Bengalou was still there, sleeping and wandering around the house, the door open for Copain to come in. Bengalou didn't go out. Well, it's okay anyway. But I'm probably stressed because my boyfriend hasn't gotten me used to these long outings without seeing him.
As for the JR riddle, it's difficult. I think I've found it. But I have a couple of answers.
Good evening, I'm off to the homemade cassoulet that's simmering away. We'll see if it turns out well...
πLapinou, you're going to laugh, I'm hitchhiking home (I had to pick up a package at a relay point: on the way there, the former mayor of my village picked me upπ² On the way back, a gentleman who was going to the doctor π€ͺ couldn't get back to his correct destination :π He had the bright idea of getting me to take out a box of energy-boosting light bulbs so he could buy the same ones online: by the time I'd unpacked the goods, he'd taken a wrong turn (he missed the mill) π When I looked up, I didn't recognize the road anymore ππ His GPS was malfunctioning, we had to ask passersby and π we were going the wrong way π€‘π€‘π€‘ What's more, the poor guy, you could see he was drawn to something else: he didn't know where to look: transported to another world π΅ And oh miracle: my house! Phew πππ I was greeted by the wonderful Dzia! πππππ Hugs and kisses to all ππππ πand to the others π

Otherwise, a rainy Monday that wouldn't put any cat outside! So, both stayed warm inside. My boyfriend acts like he owns the place and hogs all the spots. He's a bit of a pain during the day, clinging to me and getting restless before going upstairs for a long nap... But he's right. And the attention and cuddles are tenfold. Bengalou, who's been staying put, spent the weekend between the sofa and his food bowl. He's still using his litter box and hasn't asked to go outside either. He doesn't seem too worried, and isn't showing any aggression towards Copain or me. And wonderful, no cat peeing with their tails raised. They each go to their designated litter box. Close encounters aren't happening yet; everyone's free to go about their day as they please. At night, I lock myself in my room with my friend. I haven't touched Bengalou yet. Nor have I gone too close. He'll come to me when he's ready. But I'd really like to hold him in my arms soon.
After the weather, now for health: I'm still coughing but I'm sleeping π It's getting better, but it's still tiring, and especially since I haven't seen the grandchildren all week, even though it's the holidays π I promised them a "French toast" evening, well, there's still this week to go π
I see that Bengalou has managed to get adopted gently, simply, these cats are really clever π and a friend who accepts normally π without malice.
πA kind thought for fakirj and his runny noseπ’ One for our dear Paulette and her cough: if you can tolerate antibiotics and cortisone, doctors recommend taking them together in your case, especially if it's too debilitating in your daily life. It's a radical solution, working in just a few days. It's a last resort if it's really ruining your life. Hang in there! And one for the two adorable tricolor cats who are slowly getting to know each other ππ And of course, let's not forget our friends in the running, their buzzers, the entire Madwin community, and the whole team πππ Kisses to all ππππππππππππππππ from me and from adorable Dzia πΌπΉπππ
