Ragondelune , on Mafia, did you receive the β¬3 or did you exchange it for points? π€ Yes, it's always sad when people we care about leave, but as you say, it's her future. π₯ Don't worry, you'll still be able to communicate. π Now with phones and the internet, we have ways to keep in touch, it'll be alright. π Keep your spirits up. π Have a lovely evening! π
Lanvoy , with pleasure for my votes. π Have a lovely evening! π
πGood evening everyone and thank you to Fakirj for his long message of encouragement for Copain,
This morning at 6 a.m., even though Copain had slept snuggled up against me, he couldn't use the litter box, which I'd put on the edge of the mattress on the floor. He was so embarrassed because he's usually a very clean cat, and I felt terrible. The bed had to be completely changed. The sun helped dry everything.
I had to consider making an appointment with the vets who know him well as early as 8:30 am. I had in my mind the final journey and a decision regarding euthanasia, my stomach and heart in knots. I was determined, but Copain chose otherwise. The vet who received us had Copain's entire file in front of him on the computer. At the appointment in his room, the vet didn't initially consider euthanasia. Copain, though very tired, was still responding to attention and using his paws. The vet told me we're giving him five days to improve. He'll call me tomorrow at 9 a.m. and book an appointment for 11 a.m. just in case. I'll try to work around Copain's schedule. We've agreed on a new cortisone treatment to replace the now-discontinued Metacam. Cortisone allows cats to slow the growth of bone tumors and live for an additional 5 to 6 months. I don't know, we'll see. A cortisone injection was given around 11 a.m. Upon returning, Copain stood up and ate and drank, then went to sleep, his tail rising again. He rested a lot, but moved towards the bay window in the garden, something he hadn't done for two days. He went spontaneously and well to the litter box that had been placed near him in the living room. He wasn't too hungry; he lapped up the sauce and a few pieces of tuna. Even fresh shrimp tonight doesn't appeal to him. His resting posture does not reveal any pain. The paws are sensitive, the tail is raised. I'm not going to sleep with him in our bed tonight. I'm going to sleep on his mattress in the living room to avoid another litter box accident.
Finally, since Copain is first and foremost my love, my concern to maintain him or not let him suffer alone, I am with him for 10 days without working. Good evening
Ragondelune , I hope you're not seriously hurt. π I wish you a speedy recovery. π Have a lovely evening. Big kisses. ππ
Pauletted59 , sunny but cool day. π I hope your big lawnmower can be repaired. π Indeed, those small battery-powered lawnmowers don't last long before needing to be recharged. π At the same time, it's a good excuse to stop. π My cats send you their greetings. πΊπΊπΊ Have a lovely evening! π
