In her tulle dress
Brush the blue water
Of her silvery wings

The lady light as lace
Hops like a tiger beetle.
Its metallic body
Twirls like a musical note

Resting from time to time, haughty
On an ephemeral water lily,
Bursting with beauty and light!

The dragonfly flies away
